IBS offers four postgraduate programmes in English, leading to a Master of Sciences degree conferred by Oxford Brookes University:
MSc in International BusinessMSc in Financial ManagementMSc in Human Resource ManagementMSc in Marketing Management
All our MSc programmes belonging to our MSc Portfolio are full time, 3-term long and last for effectively one calendar year (from September till September) and are designed primarily for recent graduates from countries all over the world, but will also be attractive for those wishing to make a career change.
In order to ensure the possibility for our students to work full time while studying, we have created a schedule that would fit their work duties: classes are held on Thursday and Friday evenings (between 6 and 9 p.m.) and Saturday all day (between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.).
Since the organisational survival in the global marketplace demands effective competitive strategies, all of our programmes belonging to our MSc Portfolio put a considerable emphasis on developing students' strategic thinking.
Relevant to the complexities involved in this approach the programme is divided into two-two stages within the first two terms. We call these four stages "Thinking Blocks": (1) Environment, (2) Structures, (3) Process Know-How, and (4) Functions. The first and the third stages are common for all MSc programmes – this approach gives the opportunity to appreciate, in a wider sense, the structure and purpose of organisations, whether they are commercial companies, public institutions or not for profit organisations. During the last term, students write a dissertation or a consultancy project work according to their choice.
Other programmes

There are planned extracurricular activities like visits to museums, outings, film club and sightseeing in Budapest. These activities are aimed at helping international students get better acquainted with the Hungarian culture and making the most of their stay in Hungary. In addition, there will be exciting excursions, twice a week to the most beautiful historic sites and treasures of nature in Hungary.

Nearly 50 specially trained, "handpicked" language teachers at IBS guarantee that our students acquire the basic English language skills as well as the highly specialised language of business, academic writing and negotiations.
The IELP programme is a one-year full-time course of 22 hours of English per week that is 600 hours per academic year. The programme offers you a thorough knowledge, understanding and practice of general English language skills (and business English vocabulary at higher levels) at various language levels with the primary objective to prepare students for continuing their studies in English at bachelor level.
Students are grouped according to their present level of English, the levels ranging from Beginner to Upper-Intermediate / Advanced. The IELP Programme can be chosen prior to the college studies.
ERASMUS exchange programme
ERASMUS is a student, teacher, placement and staff mobility programme of the European Union, with a focus on encouraging students to study abroad during their years of higher education. IBS students have the opportunity to study one semester – if they wish – in one of our 70 European higher education partner institutions through this programme.
Career, Work Placement
IBS graduates enter the employment market with a competitive edge, as an 11-month placement (on-the-job experience) is an integral part of the curriculum on all Bachelor programmes. During the second year we prepare our students with the necessary behavioural and communication skills for the placement in the third year. Our third year students can experience a real work environment, put to test their studies of the previous two years and strengthen their practical knowledge. This will enable them to be more prepared and conscientious about their career goals.
IBS' Business Network Centre and Career Office aims to continuously maintain, strengthen and further develop its corporate network, involve the business world into our education and get our students and faculty involved in the business world.
